Animal Fair Magazine is continuing its tradition of "Yappy Hour" with the event being held in 15 cities this year, some of which will benefit Hurricane Katrina pets.

JEEP Yappy Hour is a "singles mixer" with a unique twist -- instead of introducing people to people, people can be "fixed up" with dogs available for adoption. At this event there are fabulous people some without dogs, some with dogs, some single, some not single, but all around there is a great mix of people at this "can't be missed" cocktail party, said Lola of Lucky Diamond Productions, who produces the event.

This 15 city tour has had great attendance from across the country which have included celebrities and media personalities like Hilary and Haylie Duff, Miami Heat players, political pundit John McLaughlin, Stephen Jenkins (lead singer of Third Eye Blind), Actress Lacey Chabert, Local t.v. and media personalities, Phil Jackson (coach of the

> LA Lakers), and so many more.

"We have raised thousands of dollars for all the local Humane Societies as well as raised awareness for the homeless animals across the country," said Lola. "This year's parties will be the best yet! We will be filming a documentary about puppy love exploring if the right man or woman can give us the same unconditional love, loyalty and bond that we have with our dogs. If you have a story of puppy love with a human or dog we want to hear it."

This is your chance to be in the next best movie for dog lovers as "Best In Show." Everyone will have a BLAST, enjoying cocktails and "puptails" with their doggie friends! Those who do not have their own dogs can "walk" one for the evening from the APSPCA and may find true "puppy love" and decide to adopt."

Philadelphia held their festivities on Oct. 5th at 32 Degrees benefiting the Philadelphia SCPA.

Originally scheduled for New Orleans Oct. 11th but cancelled due to the hurricane, a fundraising event is being coordinated within the Yappy Hour to help Katrina pets in that area.

"We at Animal Fair are truly devastated about the amount of people and animals who are suffering," said Animal Fair staff.
