NOVEMBER 11, 2008John Roach, MSNBC.com1985: Miniature cameras, a spy stapleA regular feature in James Bond films is the miniature, concealed camera, such as the one embedded in Bond's ring in 1985's "A View to A Kill." The gadgets are not just for the movies, said Peter Earnest, the former CIA agent who is now executive director of the International Spy Museum. "We all had hidden cameras, concealed cameras, and now we've all got a camera in our cell phone. In other words, this stuff evolves," he said.
