Energy of the Mind: Beyond Positive Thinking

Updated: 11/16/2006

On Thursday November 16th, Larry King will host the second of a two part series entitled "Beyond Positive Thinking" on Larry King Live (CNN). He will interview several renowned guests who will discuss the creative power stored in the energy of our mind, and explain to viewers how our mindsets determine what we experience in our lives.

These guests will be focusing on the importance of positive attitude. A positive attitude is what enables you to get things accomplished and to create supportive and collaborative relationships with the people you live and work with. Positive people seem to have a magnetic quality that attracts other people who want to support them and help them to achieve their goals.

Think about what an attitude is. Attitude is the energy with which you approach a person, situation, or experience. This is where knowing a little bit about energy and how it works can help you become successful and create a positive attitude in everything you do. We live in a magnetic universe of energy, and every particle of energy has a frequency that it is emitting. Your thoughts are a form of energy that operate like a radio station. You know that in order to listen to your favorite radio station in your car, you have to tune your car radio to the exact frequency that it is being broadcast from. The more people that tune into that radio station, the more its broadcasting power increases and the more influence it begins to have in society because more and more people begin tuning into it. Your thoughts are like a radio station, each one them has a frequency that it broadcasts. The frequencies that each of your thoughts broadcasts determines what you create and receive in your life. The more you tune into negative thoughts, the more their broadcast power increases until what you are thinking begins to powerfully influence your life in a negative way. The same thing happens with positive thoughts.

You can learn to stop the momentum of a negative train of thought by paying attention to what you are thinking and feeling and focusing on. Then you have an important decision to make. What are you going to invest your energy in? What kind of frequencies are you going to tune the energy of your mind to?

When millions of people simultaneously focus on something like a TV show, it has the potential to create an enormous shift in our collective consciousnesses and that is a phenomenon from which all of us can benefit enormously. This process is often how a fad enters our pop culture. Millions of people will observe some celebrity wearing a particular item of clothing or using a particular phrase and, literally overnight, mainstream culture adopts that item or phrase.

Guests on Larry King Live will include John Assaraf, Bob Proctor, JZ Knight, Dr Michael Beckwith, Dr John DeMartini, James Arthur Ray, Jack Canfield, Joe Vitale, George Pratt, and Jayne Payne.
