Queen Elizabeth Visits the Prince's Trust

NOVEMBER 17, 2008 Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom speaks of her pride in the work of The Prince of Wales in the week of his 60th birthday.
The Prince's Trust was founded more than 30 years ago to empower young people to achieve great things. Young people have been supported and equipped to overcome great disadvantages.
The queen reflected on the role of the Prince of Wales, who, she commented " has given enduring inspiration" to the Prince's Trust. She stated that she and Prince Phillip were proud to be reminded of his contribution to the organization.
"For Prince Phillip and me, there can be no greater pleasure or comfort than to know that into his care are safely entrusted the guiding principles of public service and duty to others."
