Miracle Toddler Seeing 20/20
DECEMBER 01, 2008Aparna Atluru, HappyNews StaffThe Holdermans, a couple from Perryville, Kentucky, say that their toddler is okay after the child had a key lodged in his brain. When their toddler fell off of a recliner and landed on a set of car keys, the Holdermans were horrified. Further, the keys had entered the toddler's eye socket and became lodged in his brain. Staci Holderman, the boy's mother said the sight of the keys in her boy's skull was terrifying, and that she was extremely shocked. The boy spent six days in the hospital. The Holdermans feared brain damage and expected eye damage. To everyone's surprise there was no brain damage. And in another miraculous event, doctors told the Holdermans that the toddlers eye was not damaged either. In fact, the toddler has near perfect vision, less than a week after the incident occurred.
