Kudos on a Spring Break Well Used

Longview News-Journal Macedonia Baptist Church youth hung out in Longview for spring break this year and put themselves to good use for a 75-year-old resident. Dorothy Lester sought help to clean up storm debris in her yard after getting a city citation for not having cleared the mess. Macedonia's youth group went to the rescue this week. As 15-year-old Vidy Levya put it, the experience was amazing: "It's life changing to know that you're helping who's in need."
With our young people learning such lessons early in life, we're sure to see helping hands in our community for years to come.
