He traded it all in for a 420-square-foot apartment in New York that fits only a few pieces of furniture, most of which can be tucked into the walls for added floor space.
'Acquiring lots of stuff relatively quickly and feeling sort of wasteful and not very conscious about the whole thing... at the end of the day, it didn't really make me any happier than my smaller, simpler life,' Hill told the TODAY Show.
