26-year old Newton Marshall is leading this year's Jamaican mushing team in the "Last Great Race on Earth," the Iditarod. The race extends 1,049 miles through some the most unforgiving and extreme terrain on the planet.

Marshall and his team are financially supported by Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville cafes and coached by defending Iditarod champion, Lance Mackey. The team is made up of rescued strays from Mackey's Comeback Kennel in Fox, Alaska.
