A Thousand Oaks woman has launched First Aid Financial, a Web site to help people achieve their financial goals.
Arianne Deeder recently launched the site with business partner Francesca Lavezzo of San Francisco after both women experienced financial hardship.
"I was a single mother making $11 an hour, and I was quickly left trying to make ends meet," Deeder said. "When I researched solutions, I couldn't find anything within my price range without giving out my private financial information. In the age of identity theft, I decided to do it myself. I was able to create a program for myself that has led me to the financially stable situation I am in today, and I want to help others do the same."
First Aid Financial is a personal financial tool kit that includes three components: Credit Repair Program, Debt Annihilator Program and Budget Program. Because Deeder and Lavezzo worked through the steps themselves, the program has easy-to-follow directions.
"I was in debt from college: I didn't live on a budget, and I didn't have the best credit score," Lavezzo said. "I made the decision to change my life and take control of my finances. After years of trial and error, we want to share this program with you."
