Grammys Coming to Staples Feb. 8

Music lovers, mark your calendars. The 51st annual Grammy Awards will be held at Staples Center on Feb. 8, 2009 and broadcast live on CBS.
''What better place to host music's biggest night than ... right in the heart of the great city of Los Angeles,'' Jack Sussman of CBS said in a statement Wednesday. The Grammys were first presented at Staples Center in 1999.
Presented by the Recording Academy, the Grammy Awards honor musical achievements in various genres.
Grammy nominees will be announced Dec. 4.
