Thanks to new research, those with vitiligo may one day be able to kick this pigment-leaching disease to the curb.
Researchers at the University of Florida and the University of Colorado did a genome-wide study of over 800 patients with vitiligo and 1,300 patients without and identified over a dozen genes that are connected to this condition.
