Wimbledon's Unsung Stalwarts Strive for Invisibility

Ball boy Zach Murtagh and about 250 colleagues put on what can be described as a ballet of practicality; their sole purpose is to maintain the pace of play and tend to the needs of the players, all the while striving for invisibility.
“I love tennis and being a ball boy is a great way to get close to the action,” said Murtagh, who is from Surrey in southeast England.
