A crate of Scotch whisky, recovered from the Antarctic hut of renowned explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, was finally opened Friday after being trapped in Antarctic ice for a century.
The historic dram will not likely be tasted, but will be examined by master brewers in an attempt to replicate the original recipe.
