When Amy Pennington's publisher asked her who she would like to write an endorsement for her book, Urban Pantry, she immediately thought of Gwyneth Paltrow. Paltrow is a foodie, "über concerned with her health" and she is a yogi – all qualities that Paltrow shares with the author. Pennington says "the common interest seemed reasonable." Yet the overwhelmingly positive response her book received was unexpected.
